Chelsea Gould didn’t want to be at Love A Child Missions when she first arrived nearly a year ago.
“When I got here, it was very hard for me because I’m not used to following the rules or being somewhere I have to be at a certain time,” said Gould, 27, who was homeless at the time. “But now that I’m here, I’m more than thankful. They’ve helped me tremendously; they are a blessing to me. I’ve gone a total 180 (degrees) since I’ve been here. I was shooting dope and losing my kids because I was dirty, to where I had a sparkly clean baby on June 12 this year — and I’m still clean.”
