Today, we have an exciting update to share about the incredible work being done by Early Alert Canines, thanks to your support though Share the Spirit. Join us as we look into the profound impact these furry heroes are making and the difference you and other donors have made in their mission.

Meet Your Four-Legged Heroes

Early Alert Canines trains and places assistance dogs to aid individuals managing diabetes. These specially trained dogs possess an extraordinary ability to detect fluctuations in blood sugar levels and promptly alert their owners or caregivers. Their invaluable assistance provides peace of mind and enhances the quality of life for those living with diabetes.

Dallas and Krissy: A Life-Changing Partnership

One inspiring partnership is that of Dallas, diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at a young age, and his loyal companion, EAC Krissy. By alerting Megan, Dallas’s mom, to crucial treatment decisions and offering constant companionship, Krissy has become Dallas’s “diabuddy.” With Krissy by his side, Dallas no longer faces the constant fear of life-threatening low blood sugar episodes. Megan is grateful to EAC for bringing this long-awaited blessing to their family.

Monique and Jolo: A Lifesaving Partnership

Living with type 1 diabetes, Monique understands the challenges and toll it takes on both mind and body. However, with EAC Jolo as her Diabetic Alert Dog, Monique has found solace and support. These remarkable dogs possess a natural ability to detect blood glucose changes faster than most technology, enabling them to prevent complications and ensure timely medical attention. Monique shared that Jolo’s vigilance alerted her to a serious complication, ultimately resulting in a shorter hospital stay. She describes these Diabetic Alert Dogs as true “guardian angels.”

The Impact of Share the Spirit Gifts and a Heartfelt Thank You

Through the generous support of donors like you, Early Alert Canines has been able to expand their reach and provide assistance to even more individuals in need. Share the Spirit donations facilitated the training and placement of more life-saving assistance dogs, matching them with individuals who will greatly benefit from their skills. Early Alert Canines and Share the Spirit have joined forces to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals managing diabetes. Through the dedication of these exceptional assistance dogs and the support of generous donors, hope and a brighter future are brought to those in need. Together, we are making a difference.

A heartfelt thank you to all the donors, supporters, and organizations, including EAC, who make these life-changing partnerships possible. Your contributions truly make a difference, empowering individuals to face their obstacles with newfound strength and courage. Thank you for your support – it has our tails wagging with joy!
